Progress of Seismic tomography applied in the North China Craton

Seismic tomography applied in the study of seismic structures beneath the North China Craton has achieved many significant results.In this paper,the methods of seismic tomography applied in this area and their resolutions are briefly reviewed.The results and their implications are discussed in detail.In addition,problems in these researches are pointed out in this paper.High-resolution seismic images of the crust and mantle offer clues for tectonics and deep dynamic process.Many researches focus on seismotectonics and destruction of North China Craton.Seismic tomography faces great challenge however.The resolution at velocity discontinuities is not good.It is hard to do direct comparisons between tomographic results.Maybe different methods and different dataset should be jointed together.Also methods should be developed.
