Seismic response for local landform subjected to scattering of incident wave

The seismic response for local landform subjected to scattering of incident wave has engaged researcher's attention in recent years.This effect is conditioned by the frequency and angle of incident wave,landform geometry,medium property,etc.The scattering mainly reflects to surface displacement.To summarize,there are four main local landforms which are canyon,hill,alluvial valley and complex topography.This paper discusses the effect of scattering of incident wave by the four local landforms and gives a suggestion of future research.
