The data processing method and software development for EH-4 system

EH-4 system is widely used for high frequency magnetotellruic(HMT) soundings.Its own data processing software IMAGEM,based on the DOS system,is not convenient to operate,also the efficiency of data reprocessing is low.And the new methods of noise elimination and inversion can be hardly brought in for data processing.So this article aims to make a more convenient and more efficiency data processing software for EH-4 system.Firstly,it studies the whole process of the data processing,including computing the power spectral from the raw time series,and computing the apparent resistivity together with the tensor impedance,and pseudo 2D inversion.Based on the computing,new data processing software named EH4DataProcessingSystem is developed in Microsoft.NET Framework.It is running well in Windows XP,VISTA,and Windows 7 systems.Application proves this software feasible and valuable.
