Review of 3D property inversion of gravity and magnetic data

In this paper,we review several main issues in 3D property inversion of gravity and magnetic data,including fast forward calculation algorithm,inversion framework,constrained factors and inversion algorithms.The method of equivalence storage of prisms,parallel computing based on GPU and wavelet compression are discussed.3D property inversion means linear or nonlinear inversion that minimizes the objective function.Meanwhile,appropriate constraints with different geological problems should be considered in order to obtain good results.Finally,we discuss the application prospects and development direction of 3D property inversion of gravity and magnetic data.
