The application of correspondence analysis technique of gravitational and magnetic anomalies in the process of factual data,in Myanmar region

ZHAO Ru-min,ZHU Guang-hui,BAI Guan-jun(CNOOC Research Institute.Beijing 100027,China)
X block is a less degree of exploration region in Myanmar, which is lack of seismic data.In order to predict the regional tectonic characteristics and volcanic rock distribution,we research the correlation between gravitatioval and magnetic anomalies in the block.Meanhile,we reprocess and rethink the source data using the correspondence analysis technique of gravitational and magnetic anomalies and total gradient amplitude method. In this paper, analysising the basic characteristics of gravity field 、magnetic field and the correlation coefficient in gravity and magnetic correspondence analysis, base on the geological and seismic data to re-recognize the structural features.conclude that this block is a potential exploration region, dividing the block into several different types structures. In the studied area, the predicted results by the method is coincident with drilling results.
