Shear wave velocity delicate estimation based on Trivariate Cauchy constraint AVO inversion

The shear wave velocity is an important parameter for seismic forward model,rock physics analysis and prestaek seismic inversion,which plays a significant role in reservoir prediction.However,the shear wave velocity is often lack in real situation.In order to estimate the shear wave velocity.several methods have been proposed,including the empirical method,rock physics model method,and so on.In this paper,the delicate estimation method hased on Trivariale Cauchy constraint AVO inversion is proposed,which improves the accuracy of missing shear wave velociiy.Firstly,under the assumption of convolution model,the Trivariate Cauchy constraint AVO inversion method is introduced hased on Bayesian framework and the model test verifies the reliability of the inverted parameters.Secondly,with the initial velocity from the Xu White petrophysical model and logging constrained inversion,the Trivariate Cauchy constraint AVO inversion is applied to the shear wave velocity estimation,and the modification of parameters in the inversion process makes the estimated shear wave velocity more accurate.Finally,the method is applied to the real shear wave velocity estimation,and the application results show that the method improves the shear wave prediction accuracy and reliability.
