Numerical simulation methods of rock electrical properties based on digital cores:a review

Tight oil and gas,as the representative unconventional reservoir,due to it has the characteristics of lowporosity and permeability,complex pore structure and tight core,which make the rock physics experimental cycle becoming long,high cost,displacement hard and difficult to study the microscopic parameters' influence on resistivity quantitatively.While the petrophysical properties of digital core developed form the X-ray CT scanning simulation technology can make up for this deficiency.We summarized various kinds of numerical simulation methods of rock electrical property and their advantages and disadvantages based on digital core;cited the research example and the progress of scholars both at home and abroad;discussed the main problems existed in the researches of the currentnumericalsimulation of electrical;we also pointed out the development direction of numerical simulation of electrical porperties of rock based on digital core.
