Free air gravity anomaly construction based on Airy isostatic theory

To meet the requirement of high resolution gravity data,the free air gravity anomaly construction method based on the Airy isostatic theory was studied.It was suggested that the terrain and isostatic potential should be taken into account when the computation was taken out.The affection of terrain density error and compensation depth was analyzed in detail and some suggestions were proposed.A set of correcting methods were listed and compared for the systematic correction.An experiment was carried out in the area and results showed that the free air gravity anomaly precision could be higher than10 mGal in 10′resolution control points.
