Application of multi-algorithmic fusion methods to fluid identity in tight sand reservoir

The elasticity parameters of the rock will get changed when gas exists in the reservoir,as a result,the fluid property can be identified with rock elastic characters.An elastic indicating method which can identify the gas/water formation was established based on analyzing the array acoustic logging data in tight sand reservoir in Sulige Gasfield.The correlations between each rock elastic parameter were determined with an intersection analysis method,then the sand and shale was distinguished by the Poisson's ratio,and the gascontaining situation of the reservoir can be indicated by elastic parameters of bulk modulus and Lame coefficient etc..In the paper,fluid sensibility evaluation parameters were introduced,the gas-sensitive elastic parameter were selected preferentially,with which the fluid were identified by the method of Support Vector Machine,the actual data from tight sand reservoir in Sulige Gasfield was processed with this method,and the prediction matching rate reached 93% compared with the gas testing results.
