Overview of geophysical exploration methods and technical of tight sandstone gas reservoirs

In order to improve the application effect of geophysical methods in the exploration and evaluation of the tight sandstone gas reservoirs,a large number of domestic and foreign references are investigated. First, the concept and geological features of tight sandstone gas is cleared. Secondly, it analyzes the seismic exploration techniques used in the prediction of fractures and recognition of gas of tight sandstone gas reservoirs. Briefly introduced the logging series which are used to evaluate the tight sandstone gas reservoirs and summarized the logging identification and quantitative calculation method of tight sandstone gas reservoir,and carried out a case study. The study shows that the seismic methods are most effective geophysical methods in tight sandstone gas exploration,it not only can effectively predict the fracture site,but also can identify tight sandstone gas reservoirs. The well logging has the advantage of vertical high resolution and accuracy microscopic feature analysis. Seismic and logging data is organically combined on the basis of rock physics analysis, different scale information amalgamation could be realized,the prospecting and evaluating effect could be advanced by means of nonlinearity mathematical method and non-stationary analysis technique.
