Ground transient electromagnetic system contrast test

In order to test the performance of each component of independently developed ground transient electromagnetic system( GPTEM) at field work,a series of comprehensive tests were conducted between the GPTEM system and foreign commercial equipment in Gongzhuling city,Jilin province. Several contrast tests had been carried out as follows:( 1) comparison of the noise performance of the GPTEM and GDP-32 Ⅱ system;( 2) comparison of measured data of the sensors of GPTEM and GDP-32Ⅱ system;( 3) comparison of the complete set of transmitting-receiving system of the GPTEM and GDP-32 II. Finally, the data collected by GPTEM and GDP-32 Ⅱsystem were inversed,and further compared with hole logging to verify the correctness of the collected results.The experimental analysis shows that the ground transient electromagnetic system has achieved and in some respects has been superior to the performance of similar products abroad,and can be well qualified for field exploration work.
