NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF CORONAL MASS EJECTIONS: INFLUENCE OF THE PREEVENT CORONA AND THE DRIVING MECHANISM

The role of the preevent corona and the driving mechanism in the formation and evolution of CMEs is a disputable problem. In different initial corona, this paper simulates the coronal response to new magnetic flux eruption and thermal energy release at the coronal base. We show that both the preevent corona and the driving mechanism are important in the formation and evolution of CMEs.
