THE DEPENDENCE OF RELAXATION ATTENUATION OF SATURATION ROCK ON TIME AND TEMPERATURE

From the experiments of low frequency sub resonance vibration for different fluid saturated rocks, the internal friction peak was found to be a typical relaxation peak. Different saturating fluid and different rocks lead to different characteristics of relaxation peak which can be physical basis to find oil field and geothermal field, and to predict the oil layers. Analysis of experimental results confirm that the rising of temperature is equivalent to the reducing the frequency. The time temperature equivalence is a commonness of saturated porous rocks. [
