REGIONAL MAGNETIC DATA PROCESSING AND TERRANE DIVIDING IN THE AREA OF THE GEOSCIENCE TRANSECT FROM YADONG TO GOLMUD

This paper introduces the data processing results of the aeroma.gnetic anomalies over an area about one million square kilometres in Qinghai-Xi-zang plateau. Before processing, the aeromagnetie anomalies are normally recorrected based on the International Geomagnetic Reference Field (IGR.F) in agreement with the demand of the International Lithosphere Geosoience Transect Project. The processing methods used here include apparent magnetic susceptibility mapping, long-wave component extracting, direction filtering and digit linage processing. Based on the processing results, the distribution of the fracture zones and the dividing of terranes in the processing area are discussed. Some futldarnental information has been derived for the synthetical study of the geological belt from Yadong to Golmud.
