Some strongcell (supercell) hailclouds from which only small hailstones fall on the ground have been found in China. Authors have checked 23 strongcell hailstorms which happened in the countries of China, America, Canada and England etc., and pointed out that some strongcell hailclouds only caused light damage on the ground. Although those storms had typical echo structures of strongcell hailstorms, i.e. an overhang echo, weak echo region and echo wall, they did not cause heavy damage. Finally, three kinds of strongcell hailclouds are given, and the causes of the new phenomenon are discussed.
