NUMERICAL EXPERIMENT ON SLANT VISIBILITY AND ITS CALCULATION FORMULA

Qiu Jinhuan(Insintute of Atmospheric Physics,Academia Sinica)  
This paper studies the sensitivity of slant visibility to extinction coefficient distribution, scattering phase function, total optical depth, solar zenith and azimuth angles and reflectivity property of target and background by resolving radiative transfer equation, and according to numerical calculation data, confirms a simple approximate expression of slant visibility.
