A Study of Monthly-Mean Surface Albedo of the Yangtze River Delta

Abstract The difference of land surface features and physical characteristics is mainly mechanism that causes anisolropic distribution of albedo. Using statistic models, bidirectional reflectance models and NOAA14-AVHRR data, we retrieve and analyse the monthly mean albedo of 1995. Land-surface cover type obviously change in every year because of (he human activities. This inevitably makes environment modified and often leads to global climate change though the convection of large-scale atmospheric circulation. So, a study of the land suface albedo has important scientific sense.
