Numerical Experiment on the Influence of Sea-surface Temperature Anomalies in the Eastern Equatorial Pacific in Summer upon the Short-range Climate Changes over Globe and in East Asia

By using the two-level atmospheric cireulation model develops in the bottlte of Atmospheric Physics,ChineSe Academy of Scienese (IAP-AGCM), the influence of negative sea-surface temperature anomalies (SSTA)in the eastern eqUatorial Padfic in summer upon the global atmospherac circuation and the regional short-mngeclimate changes in the eqUatorial Pacific and East Asia is studied with special attention to the anomalies of some simulatal variables such as the latent flux and sensible flux at the sea surface in the equatorial Padfic precipitanongtopotential height andwind and so on. How the SSTA in the eastern eqUatorial P ̄in summer summer affects the gabaland regional short-range close changes is also studied. Some medngful results are obtained.
