STUDY ON THE CHOICE OF SOIL PRESSURE IN THE TOP-DOWN CONSTRUCTION OF SOFT SOIL AREA

In this paper,based on the construction experience of soft ground in Shanghai,the calculation method of soil pressure and the selection of soil pressure distribution pattern were analyzed.The diaphragm wall was builded in the topdown construction.The horizontal displacements and the depth of the maximum horizontal displacements were measured in site.Compared with the results of calculation,the moment values calculated by using the rectangle pattern of soil pressure have a better simulation of the actual situation.The moment values calculated by using the triangle pattern of soil pressure were obviously different from the realities.It caused the bigger values in envelope of moment under the surface of foundation pit.
