To determine the yield displacement is important for performance-based seismic design of shear walls.Based on the analysis of the current calculation method and low-cyclic loading test datas of reinforced concrete shear walls with different parameters,an improved calculation method is proposed.The yield displacement calculation results by the improved calculation method correlated very well with the test results,and thus the improved calculation method can be the reference for RC shear walls seismic design research.
