Nanjing Jiuhuashan Tunnel Use FBG Technology for Supervision Tunnel Main Structure Deformation

FBG is applied to establish the long-term supervision system monitoring the deformation of main structure of Nanjing Jiuhuashan Tunnel.During the operation stage,the system monitors the concrete strain and displacement of expansion joint and makes analysis to the results.The monitoring results show that the deformation of tunnel(both the mountain section and the lake section),which is influenced by environment,seasonal temperature difference and precipitation,is within the safe threshold value.
