Implementation of Active Headset Based on Piezoelectric Control and Study on Its Robustness Improving

Our design uses an adaptive digital filter with IMC arrangement to optimally cancel unwanted acoustic noise in the headset. Piezoelectric ceramic is used as a second noise source to reduce the volume and mass of the headset. In the light of the change of object and the property of adaptive feedback noise control, the robustness of the system is also explored. Experiments and simulations show that the modified algorithm is effective in the situation where major frequencies of noise are relatively high or the object changes significantly.
