Amplitude-frequency Characteristic Study of Distributed Loudspeaker Based on Modal Analysis

Based on the plate flexural vibration equation,the vibration modes of the distributed flat-panel speaker,and inherent relationship between the acoustic radiation modes and radiated sound power are discussed.The studies show that the normal frequency density of vibration mode and the leading radiation mode are the main factors to influence the radiated sound power.The experimental results demonstrate that the modal density stimulated by the exciting force,and the modal damping have a great influence on the flat-panel speaker amplitude and frequency characteristics.
