WANG Lin,YAO Jun,GENG Zhi-Min Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery,First Hospital,Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an 710061,China
AIM: To explore the effect of kadsurenone on inflammatory mediators in rats during acute pancreatitis(AP).METHODS: A total of 104 SD male rats which weighed 250-300 g were randomly divided into sham group(n=24),AP group(n=40) and kadsurenone group(n=40).The animals in the groups were killed in 3,6,12,24 h after operation for experimental observation.RESULTS: The serum levels of PAF,TNF-α and IL-6 of AP rats significantly increased(P0.01),and the serum level of TNF-α got to a peak at 6h and the serum IL-6 at 12 h after operation(P0.01 vs sham group in each period of time). After kadsurenone was used in AP rats, the serum levels of PAF,TNFα and IL-6 were significantly decreased(P(0.05)).CONCLUSION: Kadsurenone can inhibit inflammatory mediators and relieve the damages of the pancreas or lung in AP rats.
