Design and Research on the Structure of Joints between Beams and Columns of Sanshanjie Station in Nanjing Metro

In order to ensure the safety of the joints between beams and columns in Sanshanjie Station of Nanjing metro and the overall safety of the project, the joint structure is designed by an unconventional method. Long-term experiments have been carried out to verify the loading capability of the joints, which indicate that the strength of the joint structure is much higher than is required. The results of experiments are adopted to modify the design and to direct construction.
