Design of Distribution Line Safety Monitoring System

In order to improve the real-time fault alarm of distribution lines and the accuracy of fault location,A distribution line safety monitoring and voice alarm system based on embedded technology and LoRa wireless communication technology is designed,which can voice the security range when the operator performs maintenance on the distribution line to prevent electric shock caused by entering the high voltage electric field,at the same time,the maintenance personnel's activity data is recorded and uploaded to the main station through the wireless gateway to assist management. In the non-overhaul state,it provides location information that is short-circuited due to animal activities and natural environment,assists in short-circuit troubleshooting,and sends SMS to notify management personnel for equipment overhaul when the device's own voltage is low. The test results show that the wireless data transmission network of the system has low power consumption and accurate transmission of detection information,it can realize the integration of line security monitoring,self inspection and communication,and achieved the expected requirements.
