Effects of the Water Depth and Illumination on the Hatching Rate of Zygote of Ricefield Eel(Monopterus albus)

Effects of water depth and illumination on the hatching rate of ricefield eel zygote were studied by single factor experiments single fector experiment respectively.The results indicated that the hatching rate of zygote decreased when the depth increased from 2 cm to 23 cm.The experiment of illumination showed:the hatching rate appeared increaseing trend with the increasing of illumination from 250 lx to 1500 lx,and low hatching rate happened when the illumination was higher than 2000 lx or lower than 250 lx.
