ESTIMATION OF KARYOTYPE RESEMBLANCE-NEAR COEFFICIENT AND EVOLUTIONARY DISTANCE

The calculation method of karyotype resemblance-near coefficient has been further elaborated according to the theory of resemblance-near analysis in this paper. Application of the karyotype evolutionary distance as an important parameter for animal taxonomy and evolution researches has been proposed. Applied in the karyotype analysis of 10 locust species,the karyotype resemblance-near coefficient and evolutionary distance have been proved to reflect well the phylogenetic relationship of the species and their evolutionary processes.
