Variable Density Analysis of Frost Process

Equations governing frost formation on cold surface blowed over by humid air were developed based on molecular diffusion model in this paper.The equations feature variable frost density.Meanwhile mass transfer coefficients used in prediction are derived from the published experiment data, which used to be based on Lewis analogy.The predicted thickness and density of frost agree with the experiment data well.
