A SURVEY OF CONDITION BASED MAINTENANCE TECHNOLOGY FOR ELECTRIC POWER EQUIPMENTS

Applying the condition based maintenance technology in electric power enterprises through expert decision system can reduce the cost and extend the effective operating life of facilities. On the basis of through studying a large amount of literature of condition based maintenance technology of home and abroad, a brief presentation of the development of condition based maintenance technology for electric power facilities is described, the present situation of its application in boilers, steam turbines, generators and transformers and its newest progresses are presented in this paper. The existing problems of this technology are pointed out and some new subjects and ideas for further research in this field are presented.
