A FUZZY MODEL AND APPROACH FOR POWER SYSTEM REACTIVE POWER OPTIMIZATION

Because fuzziness and uncertainty often exist in power system, a fuzzy multi objective function with multiple constraints is modeled using fuzzy set theory. Function link network(FLN)is used to define the membership function. Then the genetic algorithm is used to search a global optimal solution. The feasibility and capability of proposed model and approach are validated with an IEEE 6 bus system.
