A NOVEL PRICINGALGORITHM FOR REACTIVE POWER

On the basis of short-term marginal cost method a novel pricing model for reactive power is proposed in which the static voltage stability of the system, the demand of regional reactive power reserve and the investment recovery of investment for reactive power are considered. In this method the parallel genetic algorithm is used to ensure the global optimal solution and to improve the calculation speed and the robustness of the method to a certain degree. Verified by the calculation example of IEEE 14 nodes, the presented model and algorithm are effective and applicable and can be available for reference of reactive power optimization.
