SECURITY ANALYSIS AND DEFENCE POLICY FOR ELECTRICITY MARKET OPERATION SYSTEM

Electricity market operation system (EMOS) is a key secondary system in power dispatching and trading center and it is necessary to apply the security defense to EMOS. The network structure and application system of typical EMOS are analyzed in detail, the security requirement of EMOS and the security menace that the EMOS is faced with are researched. The system security defense policy for EMOS, including adopting secure operation system (OS), the security strategies for database, application software, fault-tolerant and disaster, secure partitioning, authentication and encryption, and the strategy for security audit are proposed.
