Research on Typical Design for 500kV/330kV Substations and Its Application

The aim, input conditions and main technical and economical indices of Typical Design for 500kV/330kV substations are presented, according to the main equipments in substation the Typical Design are divided into four basic schemes for GIS. HGIS, porcelain knob circuit breaker and dead tank circuit breaker. The main technical schemes of Typical Designs for 500kV and 330kV substations are emphatically analyzed, the main wiring forms for various voltage grades, short circuit current level and so on are illustrated in detail. The cost estimate and practical application show that Typical Design possesses such features as saving investment, reducing the land occupation, improving power supply reliability and enhancing the flexibility of planning. Finally, a brief introduction to the outlines of Typical Designs being conducted for transmission line, 220kV substation and 110kV substation are given.
