Discussion of Hidden Danger of Substation Attacked by Electro-Conductive Fiber Bomb and Protective Countermeasure

Electro-conductive fibre bomb is a soft-killing weapon that is arisen in recent years for the special purpose of attacking power system. The authors present the combat characteristics,destruction mechanism and combat application modes of electro-conductive fibre bomb. Taking a certain 500kV substation for example,the potential security hazards of substation caused by the attack of electro-conductive fibre bomb are researched in detail; the protective countermeasures combining key protection with overall protection are proposed and the protection region under the proposed countermeasures is simulated by FLUENT software.
