Application of Component Technology Based User-Defined Modeling of Control System in Power System Simulation

To solve the existing troubles in user-defined modeling for present power grid simulation systems such as low solving precision of user-defined model (UDM) and difficulty of cross-platform invocations,by means of whole simultaneous solution the solving process of UDM is improved; by use of the combination of component technology with user-defined modeling,a set of link component library of control system is developed to implement a new type of user-defined modeling system in which the user-defined modeling of control devices in power grid simulation system,including excitation regulator,speed governor,power system stabilizer (PSS) and FACTS controller and so on,is permitted,and the built UDM is integrated with power grid simulation system in the form of dynamic invocation,thus the reusability,modeling flexibility and extensibility of power grid simulation system are improved. The proposed user-defined modeling system has been successfully applied in power grid simulation system of China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI),and the transient stability simulation results of a certain practical case validate the correctness of the proposed user-defined modeling system.
