On-Site Long-Duration Induced AC Voltage Withstand Test With Partial Discharge Measurement of 1 000 kV Transformer

The 1 000 kV power transmission pilot project from Southeast Shanxi via Nanyang to Jingmen is the power transmission and transformation project with the highest voltage class in China, and the results of its on-site handover tests directly relate to whether the whole project could be put into operation without a hitch. In this paper, the on-site long-duration induced ac voltage withstand test with partial discharge measurement of 1 000 kV transformer is researched; the standard, procedures, test methods and parameter selection of main testing devices are presented. The comprehensive anti-interference measures and technological means for process monitoring are proposed during the on-site tests to ensure the tests could be carried out smoothly and offer powerful technical support to successfully put 1 000 kV main transformer into operation.
