After sharp fluctuations of wind power, it is particularly important to adjust output of conventional generating units online to improve power flow distribution and static power angle security. It was found out in previous research that the smaller mapping elastic potential energy was, the more balanced flow distribution and the better static power angle security would be. Therefore, combined with economic indexes, an integrated optimization model of security and economy was built. In order to be suitable for on-line dispatching after wind power integration, based on distribution of Pareto optimal solution, relationship among security, generation cost and grid loss was analyzed and basis for weight selection and model simplification was provided. In order to reduce impact on power flow of whole grid, a method selecting online regulating units was proposed based on power angle sensitivity order. When wind power fluctuation observed from actual operation or obtained from ultra-short term forecast reached threshold, integrated optimization could be started and regulating quantity of the units involved in integrated optimization was obtained. With wind power and constant load connected to node 15 in IEEE 39-bus system, generating units were selected and comprehensive and traditional economic optimizations was booted at each fluctuation threshold point. Results of study example show that security is improved remarkably and grid loss is decreased. The research is of practical significance for improving wind power accommodation capacity and security of on-line operation.
