RESEARCH ADVANCE IN PREDICTION THEORY AND METHODS OF CONCEALED MINERAL DEPOSITS

Concealed mineral deposit prognostic is one important forward position problem of economical geology up to date. Geosciences have thoroughly done a vast amount of research work at different subjects and angles, and set up some new theories and methods, including model theory and method, theory of ore and petrology formation controlled by tectonics and structures methods, geochemistry theory and method, physical method, mathematics geology, petrologic and mineral methods, which have been used to prognostic and discover successfully some concealed mineral deposits. This paper has reviewed and summarized simply the advances in prediction theory and methods of concealed mineral deposits in recent twenty years, finally put forward that great science, great corporation and industrialization will be the main trends of research on prediction and methods of concealed mineral deposits.
