A STUDY ON THE TECTONIC FRAMEWORK OF THE EARTH AND THE CAUSATIVE DYNAMICS

A general description of the relation between the major tectonic features of theearth's surface( e.g.Mesozoic-Cenozoic orogenic belts,rift systems ,plate boundaries,largeshear patterns etc.)and the axis of the earth's rotation is made in the light of geomechanics inthis paper. This spatial relation may arise from a unified dynamic system that combines all theforces acting externally and internally on the earth,e.g. force of gravity,force of thermal ori-gin,force resulting from the earth's rotation as well as the interaction of near celestial bediestaking into consideration the time-dependent effect of stress and the probable different respons-es of the different layers to the earth's rotation. Methods of approach to the problem are alsoproposed.
