THE STATE OF THE ART AND TREND OF THE LANDSLIDE PREDICTIONS

The state of the art of the landslide predictions in sliding time, active strengthand harmfulness are systematically studied according to the analyses of the research resultsboth from abroad and at home.In addition, the main problems in the predictions, theiradvantages and shortcomings, the applicability and effectiveness of the predictions andcharacteristies of research in different countries, etc. are reviewed. Finally, the trend ofthe research and the key points in landslide predictions are discussed.
