Research and Implementation on Multi-Agent System for EMS Based on SOAP Communication

Based on the research of agent and considered IEC 61970 common information model (CIM) as data ontology of energy management system (EMS) region, a multilayer and open type of EMS-oriented multi-agent architecture is presented. The simple object access protocol (SOAP) in prevalent technology of Web Service is adopted to transmit data among agents, and the multi-agent communication mechanism is designed. This architecture can meet the ever-increasing requirements of reliability and interoperability for EMS of new generation, and be suitable for the trend of information interaction in power system via Internet.
