An Empirical Study of the Relationship between Lexical Chunks and EFL Learners' Quality of Language Output

Lexical chunks can facilitate the quality of language output by the EFL learners,and different types of lexical chunks have different effects on it,among which sentence builders contribute most,with polywords,institutionalized expressions,and phrasal constraints placed in the sequential order.Also,lexical chunks contribute distinctly to the EFL learners with varied levels of English,improving more to the learners of relatively higher level,and less to the learners of relatively lower level.
