Finite-Element Simulation of Continuous Multistation Forging Processes

Shanghai Jiaotong University Zhao Guoqun Ruan Xueyu Shandong Polytechnic University Guan Tingdong
In this paper, the techniques or problems encountered in simulating metal forming processes by finite element method is studied. A series of algorithms is suggested. A general purpose FEM simulation system of forging processes is developed. The metal flow of continuous multistation forging processes is analyzed.
