3D FEM numerical simulation of forming process of metal tube spinning

Yanshan University Zhang Tao Li WenpingInstitute of Metal Research , Shenyang Lin Gang  
The finite element method is applied to simulate numerically the forming process of metal tube spinning, the distribution regulation of stress and strain of forming zone is obtained with different attack angles. The various factors that affect terminal part qualities are analyzed and the spinning force is calculated. It provides reliable methods and foundation for selecting technical parameters, optimizing progress and numerical controlling of metal tube spinning.
