Research on hole-flanging limit and distortion with TC1Mδ2.5 titanium alloy sheets

The hole-flanging experiments have been carried out at room temperature with TC1M titanium alloy sheets,and circular plates with thickness of 2.5mm and pre-determined-hole at the center of the specimen are used through out.In the process of hole-flanging experiment,it reveals that warp in periphery,elliptical change and shrink in lip of the flanged-hole have occurred during unloading process.The limiting forming ratio,quantitative description of the level of the un-symmetrical change and explanation of the distinctive phenomena are presented in this paper.
