Finite element analysis of 12.5 MN high speed forging hydraulic press frame

The high speed forging hydraulic press has already become one of the most important forging equipment.The three-dimension finite-element model of the frame of 12.5 MN high speed forging hydraulic press was established.In allusion to the structure of fully pretightened combination frame,the influencing factors on the integrity of the frame were analyzed.According to the offset load condition,the relationship between the pretightening coefficient and the strength of the pull rod and column was analyzed and the reliable theoretical basis for design was provided.It introduced a complete static analysis of the whole structure of the frame to obtain the stress and displacement distribution.Proposal of structure improvement was presented in order to make the integrity,strength and stiffness of the frame meet the design requirements.
