Experimental study of forming concave disk parts by novel spinning process

Principle of novel spinning of the discrete points controllable flexible roller was introduced briefly,the concave disk parts were formed by the novel spinning device and the loading model of sheet metal coming from the flexible roller was studied.The wrinkle and thinning were analyzed base on the procedure.The results show that thinning appears in two loading modes of concave disk,but the thinning from the centre to the side is less than that from the side to the centre.The thinning of the thickness with 2 mm was mainly studied,which lays a foundation for forming the disk with the thicker sheet metal.
