Design of multi-position progressive die for reinforcement-GATE OTR PNL

Through a stamping process analysis on the structure of the reinforcement-GATE OTR PNL,a layout scheme of a progressive die for the part was determined.The overall structure and design of the main parts of the die with multi-position punching and bending were presented,such as the insert structure of working parts of dies.Design scheme of the progressive die was determined.The molds took full advantage of the structural characteristics of the workpiece itself,and less waste material blanking,material giving out and discharging automatically process were adopted,which availably improved material utilization.The results show that the layout scheme and 16 position progressive die are reasonable and feasible,and they are suitable for large-scale production of the automotive parts.
