Progressive die design of 65 Mn curtain bracket shrapnel

The layout diagram and die structure were designed through analyzing the shrapnel structure characteristics and the stamping process of steel 65 Mn. To simplify the die structure,the negative angle in shrapnel part was formed by the vacant bending with movable ejected block to bend 60 ° on the left side of the part and the die with inclined slide for discharging part to bend 70 ° on the right side of the part,instead of forming by the wedge mating side slider in the conventional design( first forming "U",and then bending 60 ° and70°) as the traditional design. This technology not only simplified the die structure,but also reduced the manufacturing cost of the die.The actual production shows a compact and well designed structure. Therefore,the parts are stable and qualified.
